The Video Crypt encoder and decoder units allow a protection of transmitted or cabled video images against unauthorized interception.
The Video Crypt devices can be supplied either as unique matched pairs or as custom groups, i.e. one encoder to two or more matched decoders.

An encrypted "cut and rotate" algorithm scrambles each line of every frame, allowing a decryption at the other end if the 128 bit encryption key is known.
